Fyn - Denmark´s romantic heart

The island of Fyn is often referred to as the garden of Denmark. Fyn is also in the centre of Denmark, making the island very accessible from both Copenhagen Airport and with the train directly from the rest of Europe. South of Fyn lies the archipelago with small picturesque islands connected by ferries, offering both a break in the bike riding and also an experience of being off the beaten track where time and fastness is not that important.

Fyn - Family tour

In the heart of Denmark, Funen is a fairy tale for children and adults. We all know about Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales, and all around the island there are many other exciting adventures waiting to be discovered. The perfect way to discover is by bike - here you will quietly and leisurely progress through the landscape, and here there is plenty of time together with the family.

Around the scenic Little Belt

The tour around the Little Belt is like experiencing Denmark in miniature: rolling landscapes, idyllic villages, tranquil forests, romantic fjords, small islands, and great cycling paths. Along the way, you’ll also get a taste of city life when you visit Kolding, Haderslev, Aabenraa, Sønderborg, and Assens.

Visit the Vikings - Fiords, Culture, and History

Deep fjords, rolling landscapes, charming coastal towns, and a journey through Viking territory await you on this tour. You’ll experience both the island of Fyn and the Jutland Peninsula. The old Little Belt Bridge from 1935 connects these regions – be sure to look out for the small porpoise as you cross!

Exploring Denmark

Global Cycling Network has been Exploring Denmark – now you can ride the same tour and even more!   The routes are a mix of asphalt and gravel and are designed for gravel bikes – and of course they can also be ridden on touring bikes. There are also route options that run exclusively on asphalt, so the tour can also be done on a road bike.

The West Coast – On the Edge of the Ocean

Look forward to cycling along National Cycling Route 1, exploring the surf culture at the fjord, visiting the beautiful market town of Ringkøbing, discovering the Filsø nature reserve, stepping into the Viking Age at Bork Havn, enjoying the buzz of Esbjerg, relaxing on Fanø, crossing the Skjern River on cable ferries – and, overall, to a truly unique journey through a diverse and fascinating landscape.
